I’m deeply inspired by people, fashion, film, and art. They influence how I observe light, movement, and composition. I notice how fabric moves on the dance floor, how someone’s posture changes when they're next to a loved one, how a room feels once people settle into it.
Those influences shape the way I photograph.
I’ve never seen someone capture events the way she does. It’s like reliving the day. She is simultaneously incredibly helpful and present and yet you barely notice she’s there until you review the photos and are like wow she even got that small moment!
I’m not just observing the day, I’m present in it. I know when to step back and let things unfold, and when to gently meet the energy in the room. Sometimes that means staying quiet and unseen. Other times it means sharing a laugh, singing along, or being part of the moment in a way that helps people relax and be themselves. That balance is what makes the images feel alive.
On a wedding day, I’m not just focused on the couple. I’m watching the people who raised you, the friends who know you best, the small interactions that often go unnoticed. Those moments matter just as much, if not more.
Some of my favorite memories come from sitting in my grandmother’s home, flipping through old family photographs. Not perfectly posed images, but ones filled with feeling, presence, and life. That’s what taught me how important it is to preserve people as they truly are, in moments that would otherwise fade.
