Hannah + Paul’s Montauk Beach Engagement Session

I am so happy to be sharing Hannah and Paul’s Shadmoor State Park Engagement Session on the blog today. When I first heard Hannah and Paul’s love formed around music, I knew I had to learn more about these two beautiful souls. They met at a concert. Their first conversation was about ‘reggae-dub’. They are both musicians, she sings and he plays the guitar. And then they went and got super romantic, they formed an acoustic duo a couple years ago and perform locally in Astoria to this day. Paul had this grand plan to propose to Hannah on the UMass campus where it all began. Then the pandemic hit, so his plan B was a picnic on the beach near where she grew up in Massachusetts. To Hannah, it was perfect, just the two of them on the beach and he turned to her and asked “are you ready”. She told me she started crying right then. 

We started their engagement session on the coast of the Long Island Sound. The sun was showing off with it’s sunset today I tell you! Then we wanted those perfect beach town vibes, and then headed to a Montauk park for their Engagement session to continue. Paul’s family has lived in the area for 6 years, and this park was new to them! And they were so excited for the adventure. Then we ended their session with them pulling out their guitar and playing a song for each other. It was so moving to be apart of this moment with them.

The way her outfit caught the wind that blew gently across the cliffs. PERFECTION. Her outfit was specifically picked out for this location. We exchanged texts for weeks trying to nail down the perfect outfit for her.
