Dreamy Engagement Session at Planting Fields Arboretum
I literally had a hard time trying to pick only a few to blog y’all 😅 This shoot at Planting Fields WAS SO DREAMY AHH! Brittany and Jonah made it easy with how giggly and snuggly they were with each other. They are so cute!!
THER STORY:
Jonah and Brittany have been together for nine years. They’ve had the opportunity to share so many firsts and stand by each others side through their most precious moments in life; proms, graduations, university, moving away from home, their first apartment, new cities, and finally, their engagement. Brittany mentioned, “I can not wait to start our new chapter together as husband and wife. I have been looking forward to my wedding day since I was a little girl dreaming up horses, and carriages, and of course, a prince charming of my own. Little did I know, my prince charming would be so much more than a knight in shining armor, but my best friend, biggest supporter, and greatest happiness.”
HOW HE PROPOSED:
Brittany said: “He took me out to dinner at a Tapas restaurant I had been eyeing for months, and when we got back to our apartment, I heard music at our front door. I figured we had left the TV on but when I walked in, I saw candles and rose petals scattered along the floor, leading me to our living room. All of our furniture was cleared out and there was a bottle of champaign, glasses, more petals, and candles, leading to the center of the room. I was entirely speechless, but he did all the talking. He told me how happy and proud of me he was for taking this leap of faith with him moving to Philadelphia. How thankful he was for my support in his academic career, and how much he admired my ability to take life into my own hands and never settle for less than I deserve. When he got down on one knee I couldn’t help but burst into tears of joy and I of course, said “with all of my heart, YES!”
