Bringing in the New Year with Style

Personal

Happy New Year! 2016 was great but I know 2017 will be better. Along with the New Year, I’m excited to start this blog, FINALLY! It’s been a long time coming. I’ve always wanted to start a travel/fashion blog but never had the courage to do it. I felt maybe people wouldn’t be that interested in the details of my life. But during this past summer I decided to just do it! But it took a while thinking of the idea, the name and how to design the site.

My goal for this blog is to be transparent. I want to share every part of me. I love traveling to new places, whether it’s a garden or a food place. I have this weird desire to want to share where I’ve been so that others may go there and feel the magical feeling I felt when I went there.

I also want to express my style. I believe I’m a blank canvas and everyday I get the chance to create some sort of masterpiece! And it’s ever evolving, which is pretty sweet.

You’ll also find my reflections on here. I don’t know everything, and I won’t pretend that I do. But I do have questions + thoughts I would like to express.

I wanted to keep this outfit minimal. Just some regular old black jeans and a knit sweater. What makes the outfit is the small details; the faux suede moto jacket and the necklace. I’m obsessed with this jacket! Super inexpensive from Forever 21. And of course I HAD to wear my go to ankle boots from Vagabond. They’re so comfy! And they make the legs look long and elegant.

Jacket : Forever 21

Sweater : H&M

Jeans : Urban Outfitters

Boots : Urban Outfitters

Necklace : Forever 21

Lipstick : Lip Lingerie ‘Ruffle Trim’ from NYX

I hope you all enjoy! I’ll try to post once a week so keep on checking back!

xoxo
