Saturday in Soho

I love going to the city and making a day out of it. I wanted to go see this really cool exhibition so I planned the day around that. We went to get brunch at The Grey Dog. It’s really cool, when you walk in you get on line to order right away. And as you wait the workers get a table ready for you! I ordered the Grey Dog’s Breakfast, and it was SO yummy!

After brunch we walked down the block, the museum was only 8 minutes away walking distance. We found this awesome colorful wall, and of course I wanted to take a picture!

We got to The New Museum where the really cool exhibition was. It was the Pipilotti Rist: Pixel Forest exhibition. It was the most beautiful art installation ever! Once I walked in, I was immersed into the magical room. It felt so relaxing looking at the lights change color. The room felt infinite with all the dangling lights, it was like I was in another world. Sadly it only lasted until January 15th, I wish all of you could have went and experienced it!

After being in the pixel forest and watching the other video art on the other floors, we walked all the way up to the skyroom. We got to see the city skyline and enjoy the snow! It was really beautiful!

I wanted to get a cup of coffee and I had heard of this awesome place called Cha Cha Matcha. It was only a few minutes away from the museum. So we began walking there and it began to snow heavily!  Walking in the city while it’s snowing is always a beautiful experience.

It was a super fun day! I encourage you all to visit these places 🙂

‘Till next time!

xoxo
